Made514 / Street Artist

Born in Padua, he began his journey in the world of graffiti in the early 1990s. Alongside his activity as a writer, he pursued an artistic career focused on painting, driven by a constant experimentation with materials and techniques—translating his writing experience onto more conventional media.

His works evoke dreamlike atmospheres that stimulate empathic aesthetic responses, prompting viewers to immediately project themselves into the artist’s creations. He has elevated lettering to such a level of complexity that the sinuous dynamism of the letters in his name takes flight, breaking apart into a blend of oriental and psychedelic influences.

His style is marked by soft shapes, sharp lines, emotional splashes, and highly dynamic movements contrasted with geometric patterns, where the letters find space to merge with the figurative world. This interplay between lettering and figuration—present since the beginning of his career—and the frequent use of vibrant tones and strong contrasts, allow him to create scenes with intense chromatic impact. These works often break the boundary of two-dimensionality and, through his exploration of depth and perspective, detach themselves from the wall.

The inclusion of limbs, faces, and figures allows him to reach peaks of visual tension, transcending the three dimensions to engage a fourth one: time. In his exploration of letters, he uses the tag as a vehicle for study, the gesture of movement as an expression of will, and the lettering as a resulting construct—visualizing a frequently distorted and psychedelic dimension in which the gestural nature of calligraphy is emphasized and crystallized in the moment of expression.

There seems to be a delicate yet perfect balance animating the works of Made514—a tension between chaos and control. A subtle thread that weaves through both his graffiti and his works on canvas and paper, blending two seemingly opposite forces into a captivating visual synthesis. This same tension recurs as a continuous trace throughout the artist’s body of work. Over time, the letters in Made’s pieces have become more fluid, transforming into forms that merge into a chaos marked by a precise internal logic. His work has led him to paint and exhibit in numerous cities across Italy and abroad.
