Blue Flag, Jesolo still among the European excellences!

 

 

Jesolo once again takes centre stage at the Blue Flag award ceremony, the prestigious recognition that rewards seaside resorts that maintain the highest standards of excellence in the quality of bathing water, cleanliness of beaches, waste management, the presence of purification plants, and the quality of tourist ports.

The award given by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) was presented in Rome these days, with the deputy mayor Luca Zanotto who had the honor of representing the Municipality of Jesolo, for the 22nd consecutive year in the Olympus of Italian towns by the sea.

The commission that awards the prize uses 32 evaluation parameters, including the care and maintenance of the beaches, safety and services offered to visitors, the presence of cycle paths, pedestrian areas, as well as accessibility to the sea for all.
